Autopsy

An autopsy is a procedure in which the body of a deceased person is opened to conduct a postmortem examination to determine the cause of death. This procedure is an important medical procedure necessary to determine the exact cause of death when necessary for medical or legal purposes.

An autopsy is performed only after the body has been delivered to the mortuary facility. The autopsy is carried out in a specially equipped place where there are all the necessary tools and equipment. The body is then opened through the chest or abdomen to examine organs and tissues and check for infectious diseases.
