B-Irradiation

B-irradiation is a method of radiation therapy in which a stream of beta rays is directed at tumor tissue. This is a modern and effective method of treating malignant tumors, based on the use of ionizing radiation. B-radiation is also called beta radiation therapy (BRT).

What is b-radiation? These are streams of particles that can cause DNA damage in a cell. Then the affected cells stop dividing and die. Beta-emitting materials are usually radioactive isotopes of iodine or radon, which have a high beta emissivity value. These substances or compounds are concentrated by solution in water and chemical stabilization.
