Bacillus, or bacilli-bearing urethra, is a rare complication of a urinary tract infection, caused by a pathogen that belongs to the intestinal group of microorganisms. Bacterial infection occurs in the upper urethra, and the infection can spread to the bladder and kidneys, testicles or vagina in men and women.
