Seeds are harvested at full maturity. Dry at 50°C. Store in a well-closed container for 1 year.

The infusion of this plant has a powerful choleretic effect, actively suppresses microbial flora in the biliary tract, so it is used for inflammation of the gallbladder and liver.

To prepare the infusion, 2 tablespoons of raw materials (herbs and flowers) are poured into 0.5 liters of hot water, boiled in a water bath for 10 minutes, cooled, filtered, squeezed and the volume is brought to the original volume with boiled water. Store in the refrigerator for 3 days. Take 1-3 tablespoons 3-4 times a day after meals. The course of treatment is 7-10 days.

For leucorrhoea and other gynecological diseases, the infusion is used at night in the form of douching. In this case, it is diluted with boiled water in a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 to obtain at least 1-1.5 liters of liquid.

The seeds are indicated for diseases of the cardiovascular and nervous system, upper respiratory tract and urolithiasis. Flowers are prescribed as a diuretic and for the treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract.

A decoction is prepared from seeds. To do this, pour 1 teaspoon of raw material into 1 glass of hot water, boil in a water bath in a closed enamel container for 30 minutes, cool for 10 minutes, filter through two or three layers of gauze, squeeze out and bring the volume with boiled water to the original volume.
