Indications for use:

  1. Moderate to moderate arterial hypertension (monotherapy or in combination with other antihypertensive drugs)
  2. IHD
  3. Hyperkinetic cardiac syndrome
  4. Heart rhythm disturbances (tachycardia, arrhythmias)
  5. Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
  6. Mitral valve prolapse
  7. Myocardial infarction (prevention and treatment)
  8. Migraine (prevention)
  9. Thyrotoxicosis (complex therapy)
  10. Treatment of akathisia caused by antipsychotics

Contraindications:

  1. Hypersensitivity
  2. AV block II-III degree
  3. Severe bradycardia
  4. Cardiogenic shock
  5. Arterial hypotension
  6. Acute heart failure
  7. Pregnancy, breastfeeding

Side effects:

  1. From the nervous and cardiovascular system: dizziness, weakness, bradycardia, arrhythmia, hypotension, etc.
  2. From the gastrointestinal tract: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, dry mouth
  3. Skin reactions: rash, itching, urticaria

Interactions:

  1. Enhances the effect of antihypertensive drugs
  2. Increases the risk of bradycardia with antiarrhythmics and narcotic analgesics
  3. Requires dose adjustment of oral hypoglycemic drugs

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.

When discontinuing the drug, the dose is reduced gradually. Patients with coronary artery disease should be under medical supervision.
