Bilharua

Bilharzia is a parasitic disease caused by trematodes of the genus Schistosoma. These parasites infect human blood vessels and organs, causing inflammatory changes.

The disease is common in tropical and subtropical regions of Africa, Asia, and South America. Infection occurs through contact with water containing parasite larvae. Symptoms include fever, chills, weakness, abdominal pain, diarrhea or constipation, and bleeding from the rectum.

Diagnosis is based on the detection of parasite eggs in stool or urine. Treatment involves taking antiparasitic drugs such as praziquantel. Prevention includes observing personal hygiene rules, boiling water, and controlling disease vectors.

Bilharzia is also called schistosomiasis or bilharzia. Previously the name bilharzia was used.

Bilharzia are a type of parasitic worm that can infect different parts of the body, especially cavities and organs. These parasites are very common in nature and can be found in many animals and people.

There are different types of bilharzia, but some of them are the most dangerous. For example, filariae, which cause lymphatic filariasis. There are also roundworms that attack the kidneys, liver, lungs, hearts and other internal organs, causing diseases such as schistosomiasis, dipylidia, etc.

The main causes of infection with bilharzia are staying in areas where these parasites are common, swimming in polluted waters, or walking barefoot on contaminated soil. In such conditions, a person can become infected from insects or animals that carry parasites.

It is also possible to transmit worms through sexual contact. Therefore, if you want to protect yourself from bilharzia infection, you need to follow certain rules, for example, use special medications, protect yourself from mosquitoes and other insects, etc.
