Biohelminthiasis

Biohelminthiases are parasitic diseases in which humans become infected with certain types of worms. According to statistics, about 2.5 billion people around the world, i.e. every fifth person is infected with various forms of helminthiases. The name of these diseases comes from the word “bio”, which means “life”.
