Endotenon

ENDOTENONY is a concept that describes the auxiliary membranes of human tendons and muscles. This term is exotic in its essence, having foreign roots. It appeared in English from endo– (inside). The Greek suffix ten (tonne) allowed the new word to be translated as tengenos, which literally means tendon.

The endotenons form the endotenonal (tendon) layer. It is also called the tunneltenum (tendon tunnel), but it is not only the tennens tissue, but also the space surrounding it. Endotenium filling is tissue that fills the canal cavity and has a protective function. Endotenon or endotenonium occurs outside and inside the muscle.

The outer line is formed from 2 areas: a flat fiber covering the muscle from the outside, and the producing endothelium, located in the thickness of the dermis. Endothenion also appears on the outside - the function of which is to form the main nucleus.
