Boas Reaction, also known as the “Day of Wrath,” is a moment when a group of people decides to fight back against oppression and injustice in their midst. The term was coined by activists in 2011 in relation to protests in San Francisco against police repression and was used as the name for a social media page. Boas usually respond to social problems that require change or improvement.
