Brodmann's Architectural Map

Introductory part

Architectonics is a science that studies the organization and structure of objects of various natures, from biological to technical. It allows you to understand how different elements are connected to each other and what mechanisms ensure their functioning. One of the interesting and unusual architectural forms is the architectonic (Brodman) map - a kind of diagram that conveys the basic patterns of the organization of processes in the human body.

Main part

The Brodmann map was developed by German psychiatrist Karl Werner Brodmann in 1909. He proposed that different areas of the brain have their own functional components.
