Dosage forms: tablets 60 mg
Composition: Active ingredient - terfenadine.
Indications for use: Seasonal allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria, atopic eczema, contact dermatitis, rash; itching caused by liver damage; angioedema; allergic reactions caused by medications, food, insect bites; bronchial asthma and colds (as part of complex therapy), prevention of allergic reactions to the administration of radiocontrast drugs.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity, including to hydroxyzine, pregnancy, breastfeeding, children under 2 years of age (up to 6 years with impaired renal or liver function). Restrictions on use: Impaired kidney and liver function, old age.
Side effects: From the nervous system and sensory organs: weakness, headache, dizziness, sleep disturbance, drowsiness, nervousness, depression, fainting, convulsions, paresthesia, blurred vision. From the cardiovascular system and blood: palpitations, prolongation of the QT interval, ventricular tachyarrhythmia, torsades de pointes, extrasystole, ventricular fibrillation, cardiac arrest, hypotension, hematopoietic disorders (fatigue or weakness, sore throat, fever, bleeding or hemorrhage ), thrombocytopenia. From the gastrointestinal tract: dryness of the oral mucosa, increased appetite, dyspeptic symptoms, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, change in stool frequency, cholestasis, jaundice, hepatitis. From the respiratory system: dry mucous membranes of the throat and nose, cough, sore throat, bronchospasm, nosebleeds. From the genitourinary system: frequent urination, dysmenorrhea. From the skin: rash, eczema, hair thinning, alopecia, photosensitivity. Allergic reactions: urticaria, angioedema, anaphylaxis. Other: tremor, galactorrhea, sweating, increased transaminase levels.

Special instructions: It is not recommended to take the drug before bedtime. You should avoid drinking grapefruit juice during treatment (it may inhibit metabolism).
