Bronchiectasis Saccular

Bronchiectasis is a disease characterized by the formation of sac-like dilations in the small bronchi of the lungs. The pulmonary tract sac has its own walls and a cavity inside, which form an abscess. The formation may also be accompanied by suppuration of the bronchi as a result of the inflammatory process. Bronchiectasis often occurs as a result of chronic diseases of the respiratory system. Bronchiectasis occurs in the presence of pathologies such as bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema, pneumonia, and so on. They can also form due to the presence of tumor lesions of the lungs and digestive organs. Thus, we can say that bronchiectasis can occur as a result of any systemic respiratory disease. Bronchiectasis is classified according to several criteria: the shape of the formations, the volume of the damaged segment, the frequency of exacerbations, the presence of complications and the degree of bronchial obstruction. There are four forms of bronchiectasis: simple, purulent, polypous and fibrous. Depending on the size of the affected element, subtotal or total bronchoscanning is performed
