Bronchioles Respiratory

Bronchioles (Latin bronchiola - “small bronchi” from ancient Greek βρόγχος brogchos - windpipe + ἀλός alos - tiny, small) - structurally smaller than the bronchi and bronchilas (segments) elements of the branching respiratory tract of the tracheobronchial tree, human airways and animals, plants and fungi.

The right and left branches of the common bronchiole go further separately and on each of them there are small bronchioles 6-7 times smaller in size, as in humans and animals. If this is a tree of plants, then they also split at the end and 2 or 3 small “roots” emerge.
