Currently, one of the tasks is to improve interdepartmental cooperation in order to provide the most effective assistance to patients with mental disorders and their families.

Bruns syndrome is a mental and behavioral form of disorders that occurs under the influence of brain diseases. It is believed that the basis of the disease is underdevelopment of the brain stem, as a result of which normal metabolic processes are disrupted and damage to the central nervous system. The main symptoms of the syndrome:

Hypokinesia. A sharp decrease in motor activity and increased muscle tone. Slower perception of information, slower thinking, vulnerability, decreased immunity to infections, nausea, vomiting, rumbling in the stomach, low blood pressure, high anxiety, tendency to hysterics. Congenital diseases of the central nervous system, concussion and bruises, lack of breastfeeding in the first year of life, hypoxia at birth, poisoning of the body, poor quality nutrition, congenital structural features of the skull, predisposition to first degree diabetes, stroke or cerebral infarction, schizophrenia. It is extremely important to begin treatment of the syndrome as early as possible, even before the exact cause of its occurrence is established. Conduct a high-quality examination, use the best drugs and treatment methods. Unfortunately, diagnosing the syndrome is often difficult and requires qualified neurophysiological and psychological tests, magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound examination of the brain, blood and urine tests, specific tests, consultation with a psychiatrist, geneticist and a number of other specialists, the use of modern equipment, and the availability of your own laboratories. In addition to inpatient treatment, outpatient and even home treatment, rehabilitation and prevention are possible. But, however, this is associated with increased risks for the patient.
