Bubo-Kok: Russian vaccine against bubonic plague

Bubonic plague, also known as rinderpest, is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis. This disease can lead to serious complications, including sepsis, pneumonia and even death. Vaccination is considered an effective way to protect against bubonic plague, and one such vaccine is Bubo-Kok.

Bubo-Kok is produced by Combiotech NPK in Russia and belongs to the Vaccines pharmaceutical group. This vaccine is an intramuscular suspension with a volume of 0.5 ml per dose.

Bubo-Kok received an international name and is considered one of the most effective vaccines against bubonic plague. The vaccine contains killed cells of the bacterium Yersinia pestis, which stimulate the human immune system so that it begins to produce antibodies against this bacterium.

One of the benefits of Bubo-Coca is that it can be used to both prevent and treat bubonic plague. In case of treatment, the vaccine can be used in combination with antibiotics to enhance the therapeutic effect.

Bubo-Kok was successfully tested in clinical studies and showed high efficiency and safety. The vaccine is currently being used in Russia and other countries where bubonic plague is a public health problem.

Although bubonic plague is a rare disease, should an epidemic occur, vaccination can be an important tool for its control. Bubo-Coc is one of the vaccines that may help combat this disease and continues to be actively researched and developed to improve its effectiveness and safety.
