Cancer Anaplastic

Anaplastic cancer is a malignant tumor characterized by a high degree of anaplasia (immaturity) of cells.

Peculiarities:

  1. Tumor cells have a primitive structure and lack differentiation and specialization.

  2. Rapid and infiltrative tumor growth.

  3. High degree of malignancy and aggressiveness of the course.

  4. More common in older people.

  5. It can develop from different types of tissues (epithelial, connective, etc.).

  6. Often metastasizes.

  7. It is difficult to treat and the prognosis is poor.

Treatment includes combined methods - surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. However, complete cure is difficult due to the rapid progression of the tumor. The prognosis depends on the location, stage and general condition of the patient.
