Belongs to the group of carbon dioxides resulting from the process of carbon oxidation. In nature, the substance can be found in the atmosphere during volcanic emissions, forest fires, during soil formation, and during the respiration of living beings. Carbon monoxide enters the human and animal body through the lungs. This process occurs at the level of red blood cells
