Cell Myoepithelial

Myoepithelial cells. There are four types:

1) superficially located fibers of the stratified epithelium of the glands are connected with their lamina propria and flattened loose connective tissue stroma; the surface side of such cells is adjacent to the hemidesmoplasma of the secretory cells of the apical sections of the glandular cells; part of these fibers and the entire myoepithelium of the glandular triangle is presented in the form of structural and functional units of multilayered, large epithelial

**Myoepithelial cells** are specialized epithelial cells located between the myoepithelial fibers and the surface membrane of the glandular cells in which they are located. They are responsible for the secretion of glandular products and perform important functions for their correct functioning.

These cells are involved in the process of cell proliferation and differentiation. These cells also take part in the process of assimilation and removal of excretory products. All these processes function together and improve the functioning of mucous and glandular structures.
