Petzl's crisis

Petz's crisis is an emergency condition during pregnancy, when a woman's body cannot fully function and supply the child with the necessary substances. Diagnosis of this pathology requires certain knowledge and experience. Unfortunately, doctors are not always able to recognize the pathology at an early stage, which significantly worsens the prognosis for the mother.

Petzl crises are symptoms of organ disease in the mother (swelling of the brain, kidneys, liver), which occur in a child in the early stages of pregnancy or immediately during childbirth due to impaired blood flow in the placenta. A feature of the clinical manifestations of a crisis in the fetus is the absence of heart sounds.
