Cervice

Cervic - (from Latin cervix - cervical-coccygeal region) - an outdated designation for the cervix. Initially used as the name of one of the seminal vesicles, after which it began to be used to refer to the entire female reproductive system, including the cervix and the area around it. In the modern classification, since 1954, the male genital organ is called the penis (lat. penis), and the female genital organ is called the vulva and vagina (at the same time, the male genital organ has an ejaculatory function, like its paired organ in mammals - the copulatory apparatus).
