This symptom is mainly characteristic of toxic damage to the small intestine during acute infectious and other nonspecific diffuse enteropathies. This symptom is specific for interstitial nephritis in the absence of clinical and morphological changes in the microcirculatory system, as well as for the formation of autoantibodies from plasma cells that are produced in chronic granulomatosis. Pathological processes are not always accompanied by the appearance of concomitant clinical signs or symptoms. The phenomenon of recession development is called Cellens (E.K.
