Curantil N25, also known by the international name Dipyridamole, is a pharmacological drug from the group of antiplatelet agents. It is produced in Germany by Berlin-Chemie AG and Menarini Group. Curantil N25 has a wide spectrum of action and is used in various fields of medicine.
Curantil N25 is presented in the form of film-coated tablets containing 25 mg of dipyridamole each. Dipyridamole is the active ingredient of the drug. It has an antiplatelet effect, i.e. prevents platelet clotting and blood clot formation.
The use of Curantil N25 is recommended in the following cases:
- Prevention of thromboembolic syndrome after heart valve replacement surgery.
- Prevention of occlusion of stents and coronary artery bypass grafts (in combination with aspirin).
