Cholecystitis Gangrenous

A giant gallbladder abscess (GA) is a severe complication of chronic cholecystitis associated with the spread of a purulent process into the peri-vesical tissue or other organs and tissues. In 60% of cases, GA is the outcome of acute cholecystitis or acute calculous cholecystitis.
