Abdominal section External

EXTERNAL CENTRICATION - one of the types of external obstetric aid (performed through a separate incision in the abdominal wall). When combining external transection with a vaginal incision, intrauterine curettage of the uterine walls with a cureotomy spoon or curette can be used after separation of the amniotic sac and membranes of the fetus, followed by fetal rotation (see transverse fetal position). After the operation is completed, interrupted catgut sutures are applied in layers directly to the skin or strips of adhesive plaster are placed subcutaneously. Injury to the uterus should be minimal, and it is best to avoid it altogether.

Internal transection

If the uterus ruptures in the afterbirth period or during surgical delivery, a manual examination of the walls is performed
