Muscular feeling

Muscular feelings or kinesthesia - a type of tactile perception - are sensations that arise from irritation of the end sections of muscles, fascia and joints, and allow one to judge their tone and tension, its localization, the spatial relationship of muscle groups, and also carry out fine regulation of movements.



Muscular sense Muscular sense is a person’s ability to discern where an object is located relative to his own body. Since the gravitational force is opposite in direction on both sides of the forearm, active touches to them are equally “heavy” (motorally “the same”). The sensation thus occurs both on the pressure side and on the side opposite to the pressure. In this case we are dealing with a two-way sensation
