Septo-right liver cirrhosis is a general definition of the term and means enlargement or dilatation of the veins, which are the anatomical manifestation of secondary (reverse) sclerosis of the liver. Dilatation of veins or expansion of their vascular lumen is usually accompanied by impaired blood flow through them. With a long course of the disease, obstruction of large portal veins is diagnosed. Many patients experience hepatic portal hypertension, characteristic of secondary liver syndromes.
