Le-Cells

Lupus erythematosus cells - tops - belong to the group of acquired marker antigens of the AB0 system. They have pseudoagglutinating properties and, by their presence, several complex diseases are diagnosed. Often, wolf cubs are discovered through blood donation or even in utero. Moreover, in some cases, these cells can be detected even in healthy people. Thus, it was precisely due to the discovery of wolf cubs in the peripheral blood of donor blood that a thorough screening of donors was required, called “donor for oneself.” Similar complications can occur during blood transfusion from a pregnant woman, a woman in labor with concomitant anemic syndrome, or a patient with leukemia.
