Coast Cells

Shore cell (also known as reticuloendothelial system cells) is a type of phagocytic cell that plays an important role in immunity and the body's defense against infection. They are found in the tissues of all organs and systems, including the skin, lungs, intestines, liver and spleen. One of the main functions of coastal cells is phagocytosis - the absorption and digestion of bacteria, viruses, toxins, and other foreign particles. Thanks to this ability, coastal cells help maintain the balance of microflora in the body and prevent the development of infectious diseases. In addition, coastal cells are involved in the regulation of the immune response and contribute to the formation of immune cells.

Shore cells are round or oval in shape and size 5-10 micrometers (µm). Their surface is covered with many microvilli, thanks to which the cells provide
