Commissurotomy Posterior

Posterior commissurotomy - (syn.: posterior sigmoid-blind bisegmental anastomosis, posterior sigmoid-blind commissure) surgical operation of applying an anastomosis between the cecum and the upper lower part of the sigmoid colon to prevent volvulus, normalize the transit of feces through the intestines with total megarectum, insufficient functioning of the sigmoid colon, which is often observed with megarectum.
