Creams

The word "cream" is of English origin and literally means "cream". For many centuries, the only cream was a mixture of spermaceti, wax, almond oil and water, called cold cream. Its creation is attributed to the famous ancient physician Galen.

Since ancient times, there have been many recipes for making creams at home. Their action is not much different from the action of creams, and in many cases even surpasses them. This can be explained by the fact that branded creams may contain components that cause allergic reactions. What exactly causes such reactions is sometimes difficult to determine.

With natural products included in the cream, the situation is much simpler. Knowing about your allergic predisposition to one or another natural component, you can not include it in the cream or prepare a cream consisting of substances that are harmless to your body.

Application of cream

The effect of the cream can be enhanced by taking a steam bath for 2 minutes before applying. The cream should be applied to clean skin with soft stroking movements, making long and ascending strokes, that is, direct them from the bottom of the chin to the temples. When the cream begins to be absorbed into the skin, you need to carefully rub it in until it is completely absorbed and the surface of the skin becomes the same to the touch as it was before applying the cream.

Store the prepared creams in a glass container that is tightly sealed.

Cleansing creams

Cleansing creams are used not only to remove dust, but also to remove stale makeup. Creams and other cosmetics are made with a waxy base that cannot be removed by regular washing with soap and water.

The cleanser is applied with light upward movements and left on the face for half a minute to dissolve the makeup. Then wipe the face with a napkin or moistened cotton wool.
