Creamy eye treatment with avocado отзывы

Bloggers all over the world never tire of praising KIEHL’S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. I also succumbed to this general avocado mania and at the end of this fall I started using this cream. But spring has come, and the jar still doesn’t think it’s going to end.

The American pharmaceutical company KIEHL'S was founded in 1851 and began with a small pharmacy in New York, today you can find fans of this cosmetics in almost every corner of the world. And this same eye cream with avocado is one of the brand’s bestsellers.

Nourishing, moisturizing cream with avocado oil.

Contains highly effective natural ingredients that are suitable for sensitive eyes.

Gently moisturizes the delicate skin around the eyes. Passed ophthalmological and dermatological examinations.

Review and swatches of KIEHL’S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado:

The packaging for Keels eye cream with avocado is a simple white plastic jar with a screw-on lid and a protective membrane.

There is no spatula included, so I had to use the one I had left over from Estee Lauder.

The volume of the package is 14 g, and for special fans there are jars of this cream twice as large.

Swatch of eye cream with avocado from Keels:

The cream is creamy green in color (the color of avocado cream) and could easily be an ingredient for some delicious salad.

But no. It's too expensive to eat eye cream. And it's unlikely to be very useful

The cream is quite thick, with an oily texture. The fragrance is weak and pharmaceutical (which is quite logical for a pharmaceutical brand). When applied, the cream melts and spreads easily over the skin.

However, the oily trace from it does not absorb for quite a long time. It’s not that it’s somehow annoying, because... this is not a problem at all. This is just the kind of cream that I sometimes need to “blot with a napkin” as advised in various cosmetic magazines.

Composition of KIEHL'S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado:

Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Butylene Glycol, Tridecyl Stearate, Isodecyl Salicylate, PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate, Tridecyl Trimellitate, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Isocetyl Stearoyl Stearate, Propylene Glycol, Dipentaerythrityl Hexacaprylate/Hexacaprate, Sorbitan Sesquiole ate, Magnesium Sulfate , Phenoxyethanol, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium PCA, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Methylparaben, Ozokerite, Tocopheryl Acetate, Disodium EDTA, Retinyl Palmitate, Copper PCA, Zea Mays (Corn) Oil, Beta-Carotene

My review of KIEHL’S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado:

This cream passed the first allergy test, which is a very big plus. Because half of my creams are discarded only for this reason.

Well, in general, my impressions are ambivalent. Because I have already noticed that if something is wrong with the body and it gives you bruises, bags, wrinkles under the eyes, then few cosmetic products can radically help.

Well, in general, my impressions are ambivalent. Because I have already noticed that if something is wrong with the body and it gives you bruises, bags, wrinkles under the eyes, then few cosmetic products can radically help.

I have never come across an eye cream that would help, for example, against dark circles under the eyes. Even if I get enough sleep, I still have a slight blue tint, my skin is very thin. And with severe bruises, it seems to me that it is generally useless to fight with the help of creams; it is better to go to bed right away. And preferably with chamomile compresses. Well, in order not to scare people, they came up with concealers and foundations.

If you suddenly have puffiness and bags under the eyes, then cucumbers, ice, creams with a lifting effect and all sorts of special products help, one of which I recently wrote about (Tony Moly panda). But it helps me best against edema if I don’t eat salty foods at night and don’t sleep with my face in the pillow. The most reliable remedy for swelling, in fact!

Dry skin and wrinkles - that's where this avocado eye cream comes to the rescue. Dense, oily, it nourishes the skin as much as possible. No worse than some eye masks. However, it still doesn’t solve global problems with crow’s feet, which is a shame. I didn’t notice any anti-aging effect from it.

But what surprised me was that despite the density and fat content of this cream, concealer or foundation lays on it normally and does not roll off.

My verdict - KIEHL'S Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - a good, high-quality eye cream for winter and cold, when our skin, in principle, needs more nutrition and protection than usual. He copes with this with a bang.

It is good both as a daytime option (if there is swelling, then I “finish it off” with Panda) and as a night cream around the eyes. Only the remaining cream should still be removed with a napkin, otherwise swelling is again possible in the morning. (vicious circle).

The downside for me is the lack of an anti-aging effect, the oily residue is not absorbed and in the summer, in general, in my opinion, it will be a bit heavy on the eyelids.

Are you familiar with cosmetics from this brand?

My rating: 4 out of 5

Good October day, Beauty Patrol!

Last December, I posted a review of the Kiehl’s Season’s Giving New Year’s Advent Calendar that I purchased. In it I showed each product from this set and briefly described it. Now I’m ready to move on to individual detailed reviews of each product I’ve tried.

My favorite product was Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment With Avocado. I'll start with him.

The cream is sold in 14 ml and 28 ml containers. The price now is 2250 rubles. and 3600 rub. excluding delivery, which is free only for orders over 4,000 rubles.

*By the way, on the official website 98% of people would recommend this cream

I have the 14 ml version. And this quantity is definitely enough to evaluate its effectiveness.

The cream seems to consist of two substances: aqueous and oily.

The manufacturer promises long-lasting hydration, especially for sensitive eyes.

I only apply it at night. During the day I don't want to feel any greasy substances around my eyes.

This is what my skin looks like after removing makeup before applying the cream:

So immediately after:

I apply it along the orbital bone and far beyond it, firstly, for review, so that you can take a better look, and secondly, the last few days have been very stressful for me, my eyes are red, my skin is peeling, I want to cover my whole body with this cream

After 3 minutes the cream began to melt:

I go to bed, and the next morning after washing my eyes, my eyes look like this:

Considering that I have been using the cream for more than 3 weeks, I would say that the result is 0...

0% out of 100% that I would buy again

seems like a good lineup
for lovers and adherents of this cream there are jars of two sizes

overcharge
I don't see any effect after 3 weeks

Eyelid skin care is an integral part of any girl’s daily beauty routine. The use of eyelid products should not be delayed until the first wrinkles appear: preventing age-related changes is the best way to preserve youth and beauty.

Today we’ll talk about one of the best eye creams - Kiehl’s with avocado, the brand’s best seller and best-selling product. I will tell you why this product is unique for caring for the delicate skin around the eyes, share the tricks of its use and explain why you need to buy a special cream for the eyelids.

Composition and properties

Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado is a controversial product, according to reviews. If you go to the irecommend website, you will see that Keels with avocado is either adored or hated by everyone with all their hearts: not a single girl expresses a neutral opinion.

Why is this happening? Let's figure it out.

Package

The avocado cream came to me in a simple white plastic jar without a box or additional protection.

The lid is screwed on, and in this regard I don’t like such washers: you have to touch the jar with clean hands, then reach into it with your fingers, taking out the product, and then close the lid with greasy hands. I prefer packaging with a pump: no air gets into them, which means the product deteriorates more slowly and loses its properties.

Kils cream price for 14 ml - 2400 rubles on the official website of the manufacturer, 28 ml packaging can be purchased more profitable - for 3840 rubles. However, the product is consumed very slowly, and the shelf life after opening is only six months.

Therefore, if you plan to use it alone, take a smaller volume.

Smell

The aroma of the avocado cream, contrary to expectations, does not correspond to the name. Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado has a faint sweetish cosmetic scent that is not noticeable on the face, and for me this is a plus.

There are no fragrances in the composition, which means that the cream is suitable even for sensitive eyes and does not cause allergies.

Texture

The consistency of Keels with avocado is like slightly melted butter. The product has a yellowish tint due to beta-carotene in the composition and a pleasant oily texture.

Despite the fact that Kiehl’s cream contains solid shea butter in second place, the product is not heavy for the delicate eyelid area, it is quickly absorbed, and does not lie as an oily film under the eyes, collecting crumbled shadows.

Compound

Kiehls cream is not unique in terms of composition. In the first places are water and shea butter (and I don’t understand why the manufacturer emphasized avocado in the name, because its oil is only in eighth place in the list of ingredients).

Shea butter (karite) — softens the skin, makes it soft, velvety, nourishes and smoothes.

Butylene Glycol acts as a preservative and moisture-retaining ingredient, enhances the activity of other substances.

Tridecyl Stearate relieves irritation, and I, as the owner of sensitive skin and periodically watery eyes, am impressed by the presence of such a component. If I notice that the corner of my eye is red, I apply cream with avocado - and it eliminates redness and peeling in a few minutes.

Allergy sufferers should pay attention to the presence of creamy eye treatment with avocado PEG-30 Dipolyhydroxystearate. This emulsifier may cause allergic reactions such as burning and redness of the skin..

Kil's cream also contains retinyl palmitate, affecting the elasticity of the skin and slowing down the aging process. However, it is precisely because of this ingredient that expectant mothers should use this product with caution, because it can negatively affect the fetus.

Well, finally, avocado oil in Kiehls cream it performs the function of maintaining the lipid barrier and creating a sufficient level of hydration.

The buyer can get acquainted with the full composition by looking at the booklet attached to the bottom of the jar.

Useful tips

For the product to work and be beneficial, you should follow the rules for applying the cream to the skin of the eyelids:

  1. Place a drop of product on the ring finger of a clean hand (it is less strong and you will not damage your eyelids with sudden movements).
  2. Warm it between your fingertips.
  3. Using applicative movements, apply the cream to the lower eyelid, spreading it from the outer to the inner corner.
  4. Apply the product to the upper eyelid, vice versa - from the inner to the outer edge.

Please note: Kils cream contains oils, and it should be used exclusively on dry skin: if you apply it to slightly damp eyelids, the product will roll up and be distributed unevenly.

The manufacturer also advises using Kiehl’s with avocado as a night mask: just apply a larger amount of cream to the lower eyelid and leave overnight.

If you plan to use the product as a day cream, take a small amount of cream and apply 10 minutes before you plan to do makeup: during this time it will be completely absorbed.

Result

Kiehl's avocado around the eyes is completely worth its hefty price tag.

According to the manufacturer's promises, it should:

  1. moisturize;
  2. soften;
  3. suitable for sensitive skin.

There are no sky-high promises on the site about rejuvenation or getting rid of wrinkles, and I like this honesty (does everyone understand that creams do not remove signs of sagging skin?)

What I noticed after regularly using the famous product:

  1. the skin of the eyelids became soft and nourished;
  2. creases from dryness after sleep disappeared;
  3. The redness from a constantly watery eye has disappeared.

The cream did not cause allergic reaction and swelling (as is often the case with nourishing and moisturizing eye creams).

He suitable for evening and morning care ritual behind the face; Didn't clash with concealer or foundation.

An ideal cream, especially for the cold season.

Kiehl's analogues with avocado

If the price of Kils cream seems prohibitive, I advise you to pay attention to decent products that contain shea butter - it is one of the best for the skin of the eyelids.

For example, for me it is - Bark cream with shea butter against swelling or products from the shea line from L’occitane.

Do I need to buy a special eye cream?

To the question of why spend money on another jar, there are quite logical answers.

If you are unsure whether you need to buy a special eye cream, pay attention to the following information:

  1. Such products have been tested by ophthalmologists and, if they come into contact with the mucous membrane of the eye, will not cause harm to the organ of vision. Unlike simple face creams.
  2. They do not contain acids or other components hazardous to the eyes.
  3. The texture of the eye cream is created to be as soft as possible so as not to harm the delicate area.
  4. The eyelid product has a lower concentration of active ingredients (yes, we are paying extra for a tiny bottle). But the skin in this area is devoid of fatty tissue, but is actively supplied with blood, and a large dose of components can lead to swelling and an allergic reaction.
  5. The volume of the product is usually small, which means you can use up the cosmetics before the expiration date.
