Cromohexal: An effective antiallergic agent

The drug is not recommended for hypersensitivity to cromoglycic acid or benzalkonium hydrochloride, as well as during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Children under 2 years of age (for metered dose aerosol - up to 5 years) also have restrictions.

Some side effects may occur when using Cromohexal. When using the drug inhaled, skin reactions may occur, such as exanthema, dermatitis, urticaria, vascular edema, photodermatitis and exfoliative dermatitis. Rarely, nervous disorders may occur, including malaise, dizziness, irritability, insomnia, hallucinations, tremors, peripheral neuritis, tinnitus. Side effects can also affect the digestive and genitourinary systems. The use of Cromohexal should be carried out under the supervision of a physician, who will determine the optimal dosage and duration of treatment depending on the specific case and the patient’s condition.
