Dementia Increasing

Progressive dementia (D. progredients, often progredient) is a chronic mental illness characterized by a gradual weakening of an individual’s intellectual abilities, emotional and personality disorders, and progressive social maladjustment. It is important to understand that this is not a psychiatric diagnosis, but a clinical assessment of the degree of impairment of intellectual and mental functions.

Progressive dementia is a very difficult psychological problem for patients, relatives and society as a whole.
