**Depressive depersonalization** is a form of painful alienation, often accompanying reduced affect and catatonic stupor, in the structure of depression. Mental anesthesia is a “burnout” of emotional reactions and personality passivity in schizophrenia, indicating its gross violations. However, until the 90s of the last century, it was regarded as elementary depression (and at times it was not identified as a separate nosological form at all). Depersonalization prevails in patients without psychotic symptoms and is most clearly
