Readaptation Medical

Medical readaptation: complex treatment and prevention.

Readaptation (from the Latin re - a prefix meaning renewal, return, repetition) is a term denoting the process of adaptation of the body to changed environmental conditions. The main task of readaptation is to reduce the negative impact of unfavorable factors and ensure full functioning

Medical readaptation is a concept that is increasingly used in medicine, ecology, and human psychophysiology. But what does it mean? Readaptation is a complex mechanism for organisms to adapt to physical and psychological stress. And if we talk about medical readaptation, then this is a set of preventive, health-improving therapeutic measures, during which it is possible to normalize a person’s physiological and psychological reactions, allowing him to adapt well to life.

Readaptation is used to eliminate the consequences of prolonged low physical activity, disorders of the musculoskeletal system, as well as other pathologies caused by the lack of sufficient physical activity. The term "Readaptation" refers to broad industrial, pedagogical, and psychological situations. In most cases, this process is a natural process; it can be achieved by performing simple aerobic exercises.

In medicine, there are two main forms of readaptation: physical and psychological. The physical option involves the use of physical exercises that allow you to restore joint mobility, release muscle tissue from tension and stretch ligaments. The main objective of such procedures is to improve blood circulation, activating metabolic processes.

How to increase physical activity without exercise and gymnastics? This technique will help you burn more calories, activate your metabolism, improve your general condition, sleep, and well-being. The point of the technique is to increase the number of workouts per day, but at the same time they should be less intense. One workout in this case can last from 15 to 30 minutes. Increasing overall activity should occur by including short but repeated workouts in your daily routine.

It is worth remembering that rehabilitation medicine must necessarily be comprehensive, which involves influencing the body using a variety of therapeutic methods, such as massage, physiotherapy, vitamin therapy, etc.
