Dew-Point Hygrometer

A dew point hygrometer is an instrument for measuring air humidity by determining the dew point temperature.

The operating principle of a dew point hygrometer is based on cooling the mirror surface to a temperature at which moisture from the surrounding air condenses on it. This temperature is called the dew point temperature. The higher the relative humidity, the higher the condensation temperature on the hygrometer mirror.

By measuring the dew point temperature, the relative humidity can be calculated. Dew point hygrometers are used in meteorology, climate chambers, and to control humidity in industrial premises.

A dew-point hygrometer, also known as a Dew-Gil hygrometer, is an important tool in science and technology that is used to measure air humidity. It allows you to determine the dew point, which is the temperature at which water begins to condense on a surface. This parameter is used in various fields including crop production, air conditioning, paper and textiles.

The Point Dew Hygrometer is a portable device for determining the maximum amount of moisture in the air. Unlike a traditional thermometer, dew point hygrometers measure not air temperature, but its humidity, i.e. Shows how humid the air is as a percentage. Therefore, it is especially convenient for those who live in places with a dry climate and care about their health. Not to be confused with hygrometers and thermohygrometers
