Dexabene is also effective in the treatment of various skin diseases, such as dermatitis (contact, atopic, exfoliative), psoriasis, eczema, erythema multiforme, pemphigus, mycosis fungoides, erythroderma and others. It can be used to reduce cerebral edema, treat ulcerative colitis, hepatitis, sarcoidosis, berylliosis, disseminated tuberculosis and other conditions.

However, despite the wide range of indications for use, dexabene has some contraindications. For example, it is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the drug, systemic mycoses, amoebic infections and active form of herpes.
