Diagnosis Presumable

The question of making a “presumptive diagnosis” arises before the doctor in the following cases: it is not possible to identify the true diagnosis due to lack of data; the suspected diagnosis represents a medical error or the patient does not meet such a diagnosis.

The diagnosis “N) presumptive” can also be made in cases where the assumption is only an assumption, that is, the doctor deliberately reduces his responsibility.

A presumptive diagnosis (syn. d. hypothetical) is a preliminary diagnosis that is established on the basis of certain symptoms and signs, but has not yet been confirmed by laboratory tests. It allows the doctor to begin treatment before receiving a final diagnosis in order to alleviate the patient's condition and prevent complications.

The diagnosis is initial and important in any case and at any stage of the diagnosis process, while the doctor evaluates and compares data from a clinical examination, analysis, signs and manifestations of the disease, stage of the disease, after which a preliminary diagnosis is made (D
