Diagnosticum Shigellosis Sonne

Diagnosticum shigellosis Sonne is a diagnostic tool developed in Russia by the State Unitary Enterprise for the production of bacterial preparations named after. Gabrichevsky and produced by Microgen NPO. This tool is used to determine the presence of antibodies to shigellosis pathogens in blood plasma.

Shigellosis diagnosticum Sonne has the international name "Diagnosticum shigellosis" and is a synonym for "Diagnosticum shigellosis Flexner". This diagnostic agent belongs to the pharmaceutical group “miscellaneous diagnostic agents”.

The dosage form of the diagnosticum shigellosis Sonne is presented in the form of a liquid suspension containing 1% erythrocyte antigen. The drug is available in ampoules of 20 ml.

To diagnose shigellosis, the method of enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) is used, which allows to detect the presence of antibodies to pathogens in the blood plasma. This method is based on the antigen-antibody reaction, which occurs when antibodies interact with corresponding antigens.

To carry out the analysis, it is necessary to take the patient's blood and send it to the laboratory for further testing. If the test result is positive for the presence of antibodies to shigellosis pathogens, a diagnosis can be made and treatment can begin.

Diagnosticum shigellosis Sonne is an effective tool for diagnosing shigellosis and can be used in laboratories at various levels. However, like any other diagnostic method, it is not 100% accurate and may produce false positive or false negative results. Therefore, it is important to consult a doctor and undergo all necessary studies for a full diagnosis and treatment.
