Dialysis Peritoneal

Peritoneal fluid dialysis is a medical procedure in which a solution that removes toxins from the blood is injected into the abdominal cavity and washes the inside of the peritoneum. It is performed in patients suffering from kidney failure, when the kidney cannot cleanse the blood sufficiently. This method is used when dialysis machines do not yet work properly, or when patients cannot afford expensive treatment. This is an outpatient procedure
