Diathesis Lymphatic

Lymphatic diathesis (diathesis lymphatica) is a constitutional condition characterized by the predominance of the lymphatic component in the structure of the connective tissue and manifested by enlargement of the lymph nodes, a tendency to inflammatory processes in them and hyperplasia of the lymphoid tissue.

With lymphatic diathesis, the child experiences general lethargy, pale and puffy skin, and a tendency to allergic reactions. Typical are recurrent inflammatory diseases of the lymphatic system - lymphadenitis, tonsillitis, as well as frequent acute respiratory viral infections. Characterized by enlarged tonsils, adenoids, submandibular and cervical lymph nodes.

The diagnosis of lymphatic diathesis is established on the basis of clinical and anamnestic data and examination results. Treatment is aimed at increasing immunity and strengthening the child’s body. A healthy lifestyle, good nutrition, hardening, physical therapy, and, if necessary, immunomodulatory and antiallergic therapy are recommended.
