Diclofenac-Acos: an effective anti-inflammatory drug produced in Russia

Diclofenac-Acos is an anti-inflammatory drug derived from phenylacetic acid. It is produced in Russia by the Sintez AKO company in the city of Kurgan and has the international name "diclofenac". The drug is presented in the form of a solution for intramuscular injection and ointment at a concentration of 1%.

Diclofenac-Acos is used to treat various inflammatory joint diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, rheumatism, ankylosing spondylitis and chronic gouty arthritis, as well as degenerative diseases, including deforming osteoarthritis and osteochondrosis. It can also be used to treat back pain, neuralgia, myalgia, tenosynovitis, bursitis, post-operative pain and other pain syndromes accompanied by inflammation.

Diclofenac-Akos is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity, hematopoietic disorders, gastric and duodenal ulcers, aspirin-induced bronchial asthma, childhood (up to 6 years) and in the last trimester of pregnancy.

Like any other medicine, Diclofenac-Acos has some side effects that may occur when using it. These include gastric disorders, headaches, fatigue and skin rashes. With long-term use and/or application to large surfaces, systemic side effects may occur due to resorptive effects.

Diclofenac-Acos may interact with other drugs such as lithium, digoxin, indirect anticoagulants, oral antidiabetic drugs and quinolone derivatives. When using Diclofenac-Acos, the toxicity of methotrexate, cyclosporine and the likelihood of developing side effects of glucocorticoids increases.
