Indications for use - For administration during total parenteral nutrition or infusion therapy containing amino acids to patients whose condition requires additional administration of glutamine (catabolic or hypermetabolic state).

Contraindications:

  1. severe renal dysfunction;
  2. severe liver dysfunction.

Side effects - Chills, nausea, vomiting (if the infusion rate is exceeded).

Special instructions - During the period of use of Dipeptiven, the activity of liver enzymes (alkaline phosphatase, AST, ALT) and acid-base balance should be regularly monitored. If adverse reactions occur, the infusion should be stopped immediately. When mixing with amino acid solutions, ensure that the solutions are compatible, sterile, and thoroughly mixed. No additional drugs can be added to the mixture of Dipeptiven with a solution of amino acids.
