Dysostosis Maxillo-Cranial

Maxillocranial dysostosis is a hereditary benign disease of the skull, characterized by enlargement and deformation of the bones of the facial skeleton as a result of a disorder in their growth and development, as well as dystrophic processes leading to the appearance of malformations of the bones of the skull and the adnexal cavities of the nose and face.

Symptoms: 1.) Expansion of the orbit of the eyeball, changes in the properties of the cornea, eye hypertelorism, abnormalities in the location of teeth, malocclusion 2. ) Abnormal structure of the ribs and changes in the shape of the chest 3.) Disturbances in the structure of the brain skull.
