Fishes are one of the most popular characters in children's drawings and crafts. To make your child happy to make his own fish, invite him to look at pictures of fish in books and encyclopedias. Let him look at their characteristic features - fins, tails, gills, body shape, color.
Then invite your child to draw his own aquarium with fish. He can easily draw oval and round bodies to which triangular fins can be attached. Having painted the fish with stripes and spots, the child will cut them out and glue them onto a large sheet of blue or silver paper - this will be water. Add green wavy stripes for seaweed. You can use chalk to draw bubbles and waves.
To create the effect of shimmering water, cover the design with film. Or tie a fish by a string to make it move. For a complex craft, cut out two identical fish, but of different sizes. Color on one side and staple together. You can put toilet paper between them. Such a voluminous fish will be an excellent decor for a child’s room!
