Emotional trembling (t. emocionalis) is a human condition that occurs as a result of stress, anxiety or the experience of strong emotions. It usually manifests itself in the form of involuntary movements of the fingers, toes or head. Trembling is a physiological response to emotional arousal and is not a pathology. However, it can be quite unpleasant and prevent a person from leading normal life activities.
