Duchenne (Guchon or Dabren) disease is myotonic muscular dystrophy, which is the most common muscle tissue disease in boys. Most often, the disease is registered between the ages of 2 and 5 years. It is progressive in nature and significantly affects the patient’s quality of life. Myotonia is a decrease in muscle tone resulting in fatigue.
