Flap stem - see Filatov and stem flap - a method of embroidery using a base of lining fabric to secure beads and attach threads. Embroidery is carried out in the same way as regular embroidery, but instead of floss, thin threads of beads (2-3) are used, starting work from the top. A needle is passed through the unpainted ends of the beads in the opposite direction, that is, from bottom to top. Processing of the upper part of the product with this technique is carried out last.
