Episternum

In plastic surgery, episternum is one of the operations also known as “breast implantation” or “breast lift”.

- Initial definition: eposternum refers to the prolapse of the mammary glands below the inframammary fold, tension of the skin of the bust and disruption or damage to the superficial forms of the mammary gland. - Episternum is a procedure that allows you to restore the shape and volume of the breasts after breastfeeding, weight gain or significant weight loss. It can also be used to reduce breast size. - How the operation is performed: during the operation, the surgeon makes an incision in the armpit and chest area at the site of the projection of the mammary glands. He then removes fat and tissue that is interfering with the shape of the breasts. The surgeon then attaches the implant to the pectoral muscles and skin to create a new breast shape. The operation lasts from 2 to 4 hours, and the patient remains in the hospital for several days to a week.

Benefits of Episternuma: 1. Increase in Breast Size: Unlike other breast augmentation surgeries such as nipple augmentation or liposuction, Episternuma enlarges the entire breast, not just the nipples. 2. Reduce Pain: Breast implantation does not require an incision in the nipple like other breast augmentation methods. This reduces the risk of infection and pain. 3. Safety: Episternuta is considered safer than other breast augmentation surgeries. Since it does not have many side effects associated, for example, with skin stretching or tissue tightening. 4.
