The mouse

Miceto is not a greeting. Myceto is a word that describes a wide range of phenomena associated with mycosis, fungal infections. The term comes from the Greek word μύκης (mikos), meaning "fungus". Mycosis is one of the most common infectious diseases affecting the skin, nails and hair. Mycosis can also cause health problems in people who are immunocompromised, such as people who are HIV positive or those receiving immunosuppressive therapy for other reasons. Mycoses are often caused by different types of fungi, although there are several families of fungi that can cause disease in humans and animals. Some fungi, such as Penicillium molds, have the potential to spread in households and cause serious harm to human health. Fungi are important components of ecosystems, but in some cases they can become pathogenic and cause disease under certain conditions. Fungi can grow inside or around living organisms in the form of spores that are carried through the air or on clothing.
